JJJ Local Investors was founded in 2018 by Jim Norton, John Norton, and Joe Haine as a boutique real estate investment firm focused on affordable housing. All three founding partners have long standing relationships — Jim and John are brothers and Joe is a close friend from college.

JJJ’s mission is to provide attractive long term returns for its investors through prudent real estate investing. We have historically focused exclusively on manufactured housing given the current favorable supply/demand imbalance in this asset class, and currently own three mobile home parks in Kentucky and Illinois with plans to acquire more. We take pride in providing safe and affordable housing for residents across our residential portfolio.

JJJ has a flexible investing mandate across commercial real estate asset classes. In addition to mobile home parks, we are actively sourcing and screening self-storage facilities and small and mid-size multi-family apartments.

The founding partners are based in Dallas, TX and Louisville, KY with real estate assets in Kentucky, Illinois, Texas, Indiana, and Florida.

Our Target Acquisition Criteria

We are actively sourcing properties with value-add opportunities across the United States with a minimum $1.0 million purchase price. We consider all commercial real estate asset classes, and are active buyers of the following property types:

  • Mobile home parks

  • Apartments

  • Self-storage facilities

  • Parking lots

  • Hotels
